With our workshop and head office located in Rowville, Victoria, we are looking to add to our Global Support Team to meet the increasing support demand for our internal survey fleet, and customer base, located across the world.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and professional Support Technician. Our ideal candidate will primarily focus on technical support and customer enquiries via an online ticketing system. They will assist in equipment maintenance and audit activities, work with the delivery team on commissioning projects and training of internal and external users.
Due to the global nature of the business, this role will be providing service to international customers and will work closely with staff from other offices.
Main Duties of the Position:
- Responsible for technical support and customer enquiries through the incident management system, including off the shelf sales queries, in conjunction with the appropriate salesperson.
- Carry out survey equipment maintenance and audit programs for customers with Service Level Agreements, ARRB Systems fleet, or ad-hoc maintenance / repair needs.
- Provide onsite assistance for troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and calibration of ARRB Systems and customer equipment.
- Work in remote locations, both domestically and internationally.
- Assist the project delivery team in the quality assembly, manufacture, calibration, preparation for shipment and installation of vehicle based electronic road survey equipment.
Required Skills
- Exhibit sound automotive and electrical skills including utilizing schematics and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability for Windows-PC, TCP/IP network, auto electrical, and electronics related equipment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows platforms
- High level communication & interpersonal skills with people at all levels and across cultures
- Ability to manage own work and time to achieve key milestones work to tight timeframes
- >5 years’ experience in a technical role.
- Must hold a valid Australian driver’s licence
