Your New Company

This energy organisation plays a crucial role in Australia’s clean energy future. They deliver complex energy solutions across the country to support the transition to cleaner, more sustainable energy. With an expanding strategic agenda, they are now seeking a Strategy Lead to help shape the company’s plan moving forward and lead high impact initiatives.

Your New Role

Reporting to the Strategy Director, the Strategy Lead will help shape key business decisions by producing clear, data driven insights and contributing to the broader strategic agenda.

You will:

- Contribute to the development of the company’s long term strategic roadmap
- Analyse internal and external data, including market trends, financial performance, and competitor activity
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership and the executive team
- Support the delivery of strategic planning processes across business units
- Work cross functionally with teams across operations, finance,



and regulatory functions
- Track KPIs and progress against strategic objectives, supporting continuous improvement

About You

You have a robust background in strategy, gained through a top tier consulting firm (MBB or Tier 1) or an inhouse corporate strategy role. You’re comfortable working in fast paced environments and enjoy breaking down complex problems into clear, practical outcomes.

You’ll bring:

- 8-10 years’ experience in corporate strategy, strategic analysis, or strategy consulting, ideally gained within an MBB or Tier 1 consulting environment
- Exposure to energy, infrastructure, utilities, or other capital-intensive industries is highly regarded
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with experience working with large and complex data sets
- Clear and structured communication skills, with the ability to turn analysis into practical recommendations
- Experience in presenting to senior leaders and supporting executive and board level decisions
