The Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to support the technical delivery of residential and light commercial construction projects.

This role focuses on mechanical system design, technical analysis, compliance oversight, and engineering coordination within active construction environments.

The successful candidate will provide engineering expertise to support project planning, system evaluation, equipment performance assessment, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, review, and evaluate mechanical systems relevant to construction projects.
- Conduct engineering calculations, technical analysis, and feasibility assessments
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Assess plant, equipment,



and mechanical installations for performance and compliance
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, NCC, and WHS regulations
- Provide technical engineering advice to project teams and company directors
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants on engineering matters
- Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience Required

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years relevant engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience applying engineering principles in construction or related industries
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and regulatory compliance
- Ability to prepare technical documentation and engineering reports
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities

Salary

- $90,000 – $110,000 per annum plus superannuation (based on a 38-hour week), commensurate with qualifications and experience.
