YHA Brisbane City is a 380-bed property located in the heart of the city providing comfortable and affordable accommodation and experiences to groups and independent travellers from around the world. This up-to-date property offers a range of private and co-living accommodation rooms as well as an onsite cafe, rooftop pool and bar, co-working space, and wellness centre. Our crew of approximately 50 passionate and hardworking team members pride themselves on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for guests and each other.

The opportunity

We are currently seeking Housekeepers/Cleaners to join the team on a casual basis in beautiful Newcastle.

The housekeeping team are responsible for ensuring the property remains sparkling clean and continues to meet the excellent standards required of YHA properties.

Housekeeping/Cleaner: duties include; refreshing communal spaces,



bathrooms and accommodation rooms, kitchens, monitoring and replenishing stock and ensuring our property remains sparkling clean.

What we are looking for:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning

- Willingness to take direction from others

- Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure

- Flexible availability 24/7 roster including night shifts, weekends and public holidays

- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
