The Role
As a Machine Operator with Sacchi Contracting, you will play a vital role in ensuring our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This is a Casual position with a view to becoming Full Time dependant on work requirements.
What We're Looking For
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience operating Excavators, with proven experience in safely digging around services and final trim.
- Experience operating skid steers is highly desirable but not essential.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to safety,
team-oriented, and a solid work ethic.
- Sound understanding of Work Health and Safety Regulations, with experience in maintaining accurate records, including equipment usage logs, incident reports, pre-start checklists, and daily running sheets
- Open & unrestricted manual driver's license
- HR license (minimum), HC licence preferred
- Excavator ticket
- Skid Steer ticket
- Construction White Card
- Certificate of Competency for operating heavy machinery
