What’s the role?

As a Credit Analyst in our Specialised Business Services (SBS) team, you’ll play a key role in supporting agribusiness customers who are experiencing financial stress. You’ll work closely with an SBS Account Manager to actively manage a portfolio of higher‑risk agribusiness clients, helping them navigate challenges and find fair, practical pathways forward. You’ll meet with customers alongside frontline bankers, prepare high‑quality credit analysis, and keep our systems up to date so decisions can be made with confidence. You’ll also collaborate with internal teams and external advisers to develop strategies that support better outcomes for both the customer and Westpac. This is a permanent full‑time role preferably based in Brisbane, but also open to Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney or Perth.

What do I need?

- Robust analytical skills and the ability to assess financial information clearly and confidently.
- Experience working with agribusiness clients or a background in agriculture.
- An understanding of commercial lending, loan structures or security arrangements.
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and face‑to‑face.




- Strong attention to detail and the ability to build constructive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
