Overview
Support the growth and development of the business through managing the relationship, growth, and satisfaction of our key distribution partners.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop the strategic partnerships in both new and existing channels.
- Manage and lead the day‑to‑day ongoing relationship lead of corporate partners, including:
- Onboarding cards into programs.
- Escalations and account specialists overseeing and helping with issue avoidance and resolution.
- Promotion coordination.
- Inventory management.
- Logistics leadership.
- Manage reporting requests.
- Manage digital and physical product and solutions for new and existing partners.
- Partner with the Sales team and work collaboratively to operationalize new and existing client programs and support and grow the business.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for new partner onboarding throughout the client integration.
- Manage client gift card content, including:
- Quarterly content review.
- Presenting new gift cards and presenting discounts to partners.
- Oversee CSM team to create CRCL’s.
- Send partner all gift card assets including artwork, T&Cs;, descriptions.
What does success look like in this role?
- Build and develop the strategic partnerships in both new and existing channels.
- Build strategic relationships with card partners with specific requirements for your partners.
- Create a tight relationship with logistics party ensuring their orders are fulfilled to the highest level.
- Strategically look at all partners to create new opportunities.
- Be the lead on rolling out all new strategic partners utilizing project management skills.
- Act as an escalation point for Account Managers and Partners for issue avoidance and resolution.
- Work with the legal team to create documentation including revisions to contracts and financial changes.
- Take part in or lead business presentations and discussions – presenting Blackhawk B2B and promote services and solutions.
- Ensure all partners receive their reporting on time including stock on hand, post analysis, Service Level Agreements.
- Manage quarterly reviews with partners.
- Work with the Business Development Director to develop bespoke solutions for the best in market execution of gift card solutions to B2B and strategic partners.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director.
- Be an ambassador for the Blackhawk business with all external parties.
Qualifications
- Experience of working across a diverse customer base.
- Previous experience in business management, sales, or account management.
- Knowledge of Gift Card, Loyalty, or Prepaid category is ideal.
- Proven track record of successfully influencing in a matrixed organization.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated with a strong level of initiative, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Accustomed to working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Robust interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels and build beneficial relationships.
- Extensive planning & organisation skills.
- Strategic, collaborative outlook.
- Excellent time management and ability to multitask.
