Business Development Manager (Perth)

We’re on the lookout for a driven and experienced BDM to join our team at Highgate Air, based in Perth.

You will spend a good portion of time in front of customers both around the city and across regional Western Australian minesites. You'll be engaging directly with mine site stakeholders, learning their challenges, and offering real solutions that improve fleet uptime and operator comfort.

You’ll manage key accounts, help deliver major projects, and attend industry events, all while representing Highgate’s trusted brand in the field.

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular site visits across WA to meet with key customers and stakeholders on minesites
- Identify client pain points, tailor and present solutions, and manage the sales cycle
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with decision-makers in the mining industry
- Work autonomously to meet monthly KPIs: revenue growth, site visits, and sales activity.
- Manage and grow major mining accounts
- Collaborate with our projects team to deliver large-scale solutions
- Keep CRM clean and up to date with activity, notes, and pipeline





Qualifications & Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in the mining industry (ideally with exposure to maintenance, reliability, or mobile equipment)
- Proven sales, business development or account management experience (Preferred, but not required)
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly across WA, including the Pilbara, Goldfields, and Mid West
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Based in Perth with a valid driver’s licence and full Australian working rights
