Delta is seeking a agile and strategic Head of Regional Finance to lead our regional finance function and play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of our operating assets. This is a key leadership role, partnering closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer to support critical operational and commercial decision‑making.

What you’ll be doing

As the Head of Regional Finance, you will be accountable for delivering accurate, timely, and meaningful financial services to support Delta’s operations. Your responsibilities will include:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the regional finance team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and accountable culture. Delegate effectively, track performance against goals, and provide hands‑on support.
- Provide insights, analysis, and advice to the COO and CFO to support effective business decision‑making.
- Offer strategic financial leadership to the Operations business unit, identifying commercial opportunities to optimise asset performance and drive regional growth.
- Oversee integrated accounting and financial services across Delta’s operating assets.
- Manage financial performance reporting to the Corporate Finance team.
- Lead the consolidation of annual budgets and monthly reforecasts, including review, analysis, and preparation of presentation materials.
- Monitor financial and commercial performance of operational assets, identifying improvement opportunities aligned with best practice.
- Drive process improvements and implement robust financial controls, systems,



and policies.
- Lead initiatives that enhance cost performance and support operational efficiency.
- Review and approve project financial evaluations in line with Delta’s policies.
- Drive the integration and improvement of financial systems and reporting across operating assets.

About you

You’ll bring strong accounting knowledge, commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and a passion for developing people. Ideally, you will also have:

- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or business.
- 8–15 years total experience in finance, with 5+ years leading multi‑level teams (accounting, reporting) while remaining hands‑on and deeply involved in operational and analytical work.
- Extensive leadership experience with the ability to motivate teams and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Advanced analytical, conceptual, and numerical capability, with a strong track record in business analysis, financial evaluation, and reporting systems.
- Deep knowledge of financial and computerised accounting systems.
