As a key member of KWM’s renowned corporate hospitality team, you’ll collaborate with our Head Chef to deliver exceptional food experiences for our internal café boardrooms and corporate events.

This is a full time role (Mon‑Fri 6:00am‑2:00pm). Occasional flexibility for additional hours may be required.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and present high-quality food for daily café service, buffets, cocktail parties and functions
- Assist in planning and developing rotating weekly café menus
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff as needed
- Help with stock ordering and inventory management
- Support rostering function planning and team coordination
- Undertake projects as assigned by the Head Chef or management
- Respond efficiently to client requests aiming to exceed expectations
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards, ensuring equipment is well cared for

About You

You will be a great fit for this role if you have:

- Formal chef qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Commercial Cookery)
- At least 3 years experience in a boardroom, corporate hotel or high-volume restaurant kitchen
- Strong cold larder and hot silver service preparation skills
- Experience with stock ordering and menu planning
- Creative and health-conscious approach to menu planning and preparation, with an understanding of dietary requirements




- Function coordination experience
- Computer literacy, particularly with MS Office
- A flexible, reliable and confident approach—able to stay calm under pressure
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
