At Leaf Cafe & Co North Ryde, we are looking for a Fulltime or Parttime chef/cook to join our team. Minimum One year experience in breakfast and lunch service is necessary. We have a great atmosphere among the staff and looking for a fun and positive new member to join our team. The menu is modern Australian, subtly Asian fusion, serving breakfast and lunch. We have a fresh/ local/honest approach of cooking.

You will be required to work breakfast and lunch. Early starts, early finishes. No DINNER Your attention to detail and work attitude will be highly regarded.
Strict production time schedules, presentation and team work are very important.

MUST AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS

Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead, mentor and manage culinary team
2. Develop and plan menus along with food costing and inventory control
3.



Create prep list for crew and maintain standard for food storage, rotation, quality and appearance
4. participate in interview process and selection of kitchen staff
5. ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations

Experience and qualification:
1. former culinary training/ certificate IV
2. 1 year of domestic kitchen experience
3. Competent communication in English language

Job Types: Full-time, Part time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
