My Care Living is seeking an experienced, mature female Disability Support Worker to support a client with both physical disability and mental health needs.
This role requires professionalism, emotional maturity, strong boundaries, and a calm, reliable approach to support. Female support worker required in accordance with the client’s personal care and support preferences.

About the Role

You will provide hands-on, person-centred support in a respectful and structured environment. This role is best suited to someone who is confident working independently, understands complex support needs, and takes pride in doing things properly.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
- Supporting mental health and emotional regulation
- Implementing behaviour support strategies in collaboration with clinicians
- Assisting with manual handling and hoist transfers
- Supporting community access and social activities
- Monitoring risks and completing transparent, accurate shift notes
- Following care plans, behaviour support plans, and safety procedures
- Always maintaining professional boundaries and client dignity

What We’re Looking For

This role suits a support worker who is experienced, grounded, and dependable, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Essential requirements:

- Female support worker (client requirement)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)




- Experience in disability support and/or aged care
- Experience in personal care and mental health support
- Manual handling and hoist experience
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Valid driver’s licence and confident driving
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage dynamic situations
- Good risk awareness and professional judgement
