Ashton Manufacturing is one of Australia’s leading funeral product manufacturers, supplying high-quality coffins, caskets and accessories nationwide. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Accounts & Payroll Officer to join our team on a part-time basis.

This is a wide-ranging role for someone who enjoys working with numbers, is highly organised, and is looking for stable, long-term employment in a supportive team environment, with approximately 30 hours per week (part-time / school hours suitable).

About the Role:

We are currently using Pronto as our financial system and are due to transition to MYOB Acumatica later this financial year / early next financial year. The successful candidate will be trained in Pronto initially and involved in the transition to Acumatica.

Your day will include:

- Processing accounts payable and receivable
- Raising and managing invoices
- Payroll processing
- Data entry
- Bank reconciliation
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Responding to internal finance queries




- Supporting month-end processes
- Learning and using Pronto (with transition to MYOB Acumatica)
- Working closely with management and the wider admin tea

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone with experience in a similar accounts or payroll role, ideally within:

- Accounts / bookkeeping
- Payroll administration
- Office finance roles

Key Attributes:

- Experience with MYOB (Acumatica highly regarded)
- Willingness to learn Pronto
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organised and reliable
- Confident working with numbers and systems
- Able to work independently and manage priorities
- Professional communication skills
- Trustworthy and discreet with sensitive information

- $35 per hour + Superannuation
