Role Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure cloud architectures.
- Administer Azure PaaS services, including App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure SQL.
- Implement and monitor Azure security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and Azure Policy.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of Azure cloud solutions.
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Create and manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access controls are in place.
- Administer and support VMware Cloud Foundation environments, including deployment and management of virtual machines and storage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualization and cloud infrastructure.
- Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner, escalating to senior resources when necessary.
- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
What you need
- 3 years of hands‑on experience in cloud and Linux administration,
preferably in Azure environments.
- Experience managing and deploying Azure PaaS services and cloud‑based solutions.
- Proficiency in Linux administration, including user management, security hardening, and performance tuning.
- Working knowledge of Windows Management Tools such as Active Directory, Group Policy, and SCCM.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and ARM templates.

Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance. This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.
On-call and Shift Expectations
Our positions are primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after‑hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction.
