Head of Capital Raising - Real Assets (New South Wales)

A well-established Australian alternative investment manager is building out its capital-raising capability and is seeking a senior distribution leader to drive fundraising across private markets strategies.

The business has a robust track record in real assets and alternatives, with growing demand from private wealth, family offices, and sophisticated investors. This is a high-impact role with direct influence on capital inflows, investor relationships, and product positioning.

Key responsibilities

- Lead capital raising across private markets strategies including property, private equity, venture, and real assets.
- Build and deepen relationships with family offices, UHNW/HNW investors, private wealth advisers, and wholesale channels.
- Position investment strategies to private capital allocators and develop a credible institutional-style narrative.
- Work closely with investment and product teams to shape fundraising strategy and investor communications.
- Represent the platform in market meetings, events, and strategic partnerships.

Ideal background

- Senior capital raising, distribution, or IR experience within property, private equity,



venture capital, private credit, or broader alternatives.
- Proven fundraising track record across property or real asset strategies, including direct property, funds, or club deals.
- Established relationships with family offices, UHNW/HNW investors, and private wealth advisers in Australia.
- Strong understanding of asset management, fund structures, and private market investment strategies.
- Commercial, credible, and able to engage sophisticated capital allocators at CIO, investment committee, and principal level.
