FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR – Pool Terrace Restaurant

Set within a vibrant resort atmosphere, Pool Terrace Restaurant is a dynamic, all-day dining venue offering a full buffet breakfast, relaxed lunchtime snacks, and à la carte evening dining, alongside in-room dining and Reef Lounge bar service. Operating seven days a week, this busy venue delivers high-quality, personalised service in a fast-paced workplace.

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the Pool Terrace team. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a front-of-house team of up to 24 staff, ensuring seamless daily operations and exceptional guest experiences while embracing the island lifestyle.

Your Role

Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will supervise day-to-day operations while ensuring strategic, financial, operational, legislative, and quality goals are met. You will play a key role in maintaining service standards, leading the team on shift, and supporting the smooth running of the restaurant at all times.

Where you’ll make an impact

Supervise daily restaurant operations and act on behalf of the Restaurant Manager when required

Coordinate service with kitchen, stewarding, and bar teams to ensure consistent quality and guest satisfaction

Lead, coach, and support front-of-house team members during service





Conduct daily briefings to communicate service standards, specials, functions, and dietary requirements

Support staff training, development, and performance reviews

Assist with staff rostering in line with occupancy forecasts while managing labour costs

Monitor EFT transactions, floats, and shift reconciliations in line with company procedures

Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with health and safety regulations

Support stock control, requisitions, and regular stocktakes

Assist with special events, functions, and promotional activities as required

What we’re looking for

You are a confident and motivated hospitality leader with a strong service focus and the ability to perform under pressure. You take pride in your presentation, communication, and ability to lead by example in a busy restaurant environment.

To be successful, you will need:

Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate – RSA (Essential)

Valid Driver’s Licence (Essential)

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, or equivalent (Essential)

Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings
