This is a great chance for an Associate-level Commercial Litigation Lawyer who wants to maintain a broad practice and even build out their experience in Competition Law disputes. For those who are interested, this role also offers the chance to deepen your expertise in Insolvency and Restructuring.
This is your chance to join one of Melbourne’s highest regarded commercial litigation practices, where you’ll be working directly with a Partner who is recognised as one of the leading Litigation and Insolvency practitioners in Asia Pacific.
As an Associate in this team, you’ll be acting for high-profile clients on significant matters, including regulatory investigations, $100m+ commercial disputes, white-collar crime, and class actions.
The RoleYou’ll be expected to take a proactive role in complex litigation management, gaining exposure to all stages of the DR process, including:
Regulatory Investigations & Prosecutions: Insider trading, ACCC/ASIC investigations, and civil penalty proceedings.White-collar Crime: High-profile fraud and corruption matters, including IBAC investigations.Commercial Disputes: Large-scale shareholder disputes, post-acquisition fraud claims, and complex contract disputes with multinational corporations.Insolvency & Restructuring:



Schemes of arrangement and warranty/indemnity insurance litigation.Royal Commissions: Significant investigations, including those involving the casino industry and other major sectors.Environmental Litigation: Complex environmental matters in the Supreme Court, Federal Court, and High Court.
