Duties & Responsibilities:

· Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools and metal cutting machines

· Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.

· Joining metal sections using MIG welding techniques.

· Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision.

· Cleaning and smoothing welds by filling and grinding.

Selection Criteria:

· AQF Qualification in Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or an equivalent formal training qualification.

· Experience: A minimum of three years of relevant experience in the field.

· Team player with outstanding communication and time management.
