Associate Insurance Lawyer (Property Damage) (Melbourne)

This is a great opportunity for a high-end Solicitor or Associate General Insurance / Property Damage Lawyer who wants to level up and focus on complex and high-value claims.
You’ll join a practice that acts for both Australian and London market clients, with a steady flow of technically challenging claims across a wide range of industries. Think complex construction claims, demolition and protection works disputes, s157 and s16 Water Act claims, recoveries, and policy coverage advice. No high-volume motor vehicle work here, just carefully managed matters that require strategic thinking and technical depth.
You’ll work with a particularly good Partner who is a genuinely lovely person, an excellent mentor, and a robust people manager - as well as having a number of high-performing Senior Associates and Special Counsels to bounce off. It’s a team that’s collaborative, supportive, and deeply invested in developing senior talent.
