About the role
We're seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organised Medical Receptionists to join our Myhealth network on a casual basis, supporting our teams across our several Brisbane locations.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to get into general practice, or to pick up a few extra shifts! As our Medical Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our patients, playing a key role in providing excellent patient care and support.

Day in the Life:

- Greeting patients and efficiently managing patient check-ins and registration

- Overseeing and maintaining diary scheduling in collaboration with the Clinical Team (including waitlist management, booking in new clients and rescheduling appointments)

- Answering patient queries via phone and email

- Organising and maintaining patient records, ensuring confidentiality

- Handling various ad-hoc reception tasks to support the smooth running of the practice

What we're looking for:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of reception experience (medical preferred)

- Best Practice experience (desirable)

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency in Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS,



and Private Health Insurance billings preferred

- Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritisation of workflow

- A positive, can-do attitude and a drive to make a meaningful impact on our patients and practice
