- 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role

We’re looking for someone reliable, experienced, and ready to work to join our small, fast-paced team at The Wooden Spoon.

We make everything on site — from wraps and smoothies to bliss balls and baked items — and we pump out a high volume of coffee each morning.

Note: If you don’t have solid café experience, you simply won’t cope in this environment.

We share a venue with a CrossFit gym so if your health focused that is a bonus!

? What the Role Involves:

- Fast, quality & consistent barista work

- Making smoothies, bliss balls, wraps & sandwiches

- Baking cakes, banana bread and daily food prep

- Serving customers & running the till

- Cleaning, dishes & general café duties

? You MUST Have:





- Recent experience in a busy café

- Confidence making coffee at speed, not just basic barista skills

- Hands-on food preparation experience (wraps, sandwiches, baking or similar)

- A positive, friendly attitude with excellent customer service

- Be chatty but able to work fast and multi task

- The ability to take feedback and learn quickly

- Reliability — our team is tiny and we depend on each other

- Availability for (early starts at 5:30am)

- The right to work in Australia (no sponsorship offered)

- A genuine intention to stay long-term — we invest a lot of training into the role

- Ready to start immediately
