This role sits at the intersection of healthcare delivery and built environment design, ensuring that hospitals and health spaces are not only efficient and compliant, but also human-centred and adaptable. From strategy to implementation, you will help shape environments that truly support care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the clinical planning of healthcare spaces- from strategic service models to detailed functional design.
- Engage with clinicians and operational staff to understand patient flows, service needs, and clinical workflows.
- Develop clinical briefs, functional plans, and planning documents aligned with health authority standards and AusHFG.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to translate clinical requirements into spatial solutions.
- Contribute to business cases, master planning, and feasibility assessments.




- Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and conduct peer reviews of planning documentation.
- Support stakeholder consultation and engagement across a diverse range of healthcare clients.

What We’re Looking For:

- Clinical background (e.g. nursing, allied health) or substantial experience in clinical/health planning roles.
- Proven track record in hospital redevelopment or capital health infrastructure projects.
- Robust understanding of healthcare models of care, workflows, and operational needs.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to synthesise clinical insights into spatial and functional planning outcomes.
- A genuine drive to improve healthcare environments through better design.
