THE BUSINESS
We are a locally owned and operated National Franchise based in Western Victoria, and service customers across Central and Western Victoria and Melbourne.
We provide Electrical Test and Tag, and Fire Safety Services and have a strong focus on Safety and Compliance.
An opportunity is now available for a Testing and Tagging Technician to join our team based in Ballarat. The role will initially be casual, with hours to be negotiated with the successful candidate.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Director, this role is responsible for conducting work to meet our clients' needs.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Electrical Testing and Tagging.
- RCD Testing.
- Smoke alarm testing.
- Fire Safety Services (Fire Extinguishers/blankets/Hose reels)
- Minor repair and installation work.
- Fault reporting.
- Assisting with Essential Safety Measure servicing.
- Promote and protect our business in all aspects of operations and delivery.
- Some travelling intra and interstate when required for work, including overnight stays.

THE RIGHT PERSON
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have:
- Test and Tag experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and computer skills. Proficient with MS-Office.
- The ability to maintain a highly professional image of the company to customers and staff.
- Drivers Licence, Police Check, WWC card, Level II First Aid and Construction Induction (White card).
- Australian permanent resident or citizen status is required for this position.
Essential skills for this role include:
- Electrical Safety Test & Tagging Certificate (or willingness to complete prior to start)
- National Police Clearance (within last 12 months)
- Working With Children Clearance
- Current Driver's License.
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Level II First Aid
Further desirable skills include:
- Experience in delivering excellent customer service.
- Electrical experience or training.
- Some WHS knowledge will be beneficial.
- Cert II in Fire Inspection and Testing
