Service Deli Assistant – IGA Glengala

IGA Glengala is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Service Deli Assistant to join our team.

This is a hands-on role in a busy deli department, suited to someone who enjoys customer service and working in a fast-paced supermarket environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serving customers at the deli counter

- Slicing, weighing, and packaging deli products

- Preparing and displaying deli items to a high standard

- Maintaining clean and well-presented deli displays

- Cleaning duties, including equipment, benches, and work areas

- Following food safety, hygiene, and store procedures

- Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous deli or supermarket experience preferred

- Solid customer service and communication skills

- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

- Willingness to learn and follow procedures

- Flexible availability, including weekends
