Supermarket Cashier – IGA Glengala

IGA Glengala is seeking reliable and customer-focused Supermarket Cashiers to join our team.

We have a large produce department, and previous supermarket experience is a must.
Applicants with produce (fruit & vegetable) experience will be prioritised.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operating checkouts accurately and efficiently

- Providing friendly, professional customer service

- Weighing, identifying, and scanning fruit and vegetables correctly

- Assisting customers with produce-related enquiries

- Supporting the produce department when required

- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation at checkout and surrounding areas

- Working efficiently in a fast-paced supermarket environment

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous supermarket experience is essential

- Produce (fruit & veg) experience highly regarded and prioritised

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team

- Versatile availability, including weekends
