We’re Recruiting for 5 Part-Time Roles (2026)

As part of our administrative restructure for 2026, Compass is recruiting a small office team of capable, values-aligned people.

Applicants are welcome to apply for one role or indicate interest in multiple roles (if availability allows).

Available Roles

1) Administration Officer (Mornings) – Level 3

Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:00 am – 11:00 am (term time)
Pay: $32 per hour + superannuation
Role focus: front office support, phone/email enquiries, attendance recording, morning drop-off support, basic first aid and early pick-ups.

2) Business & Compliance Officer – Level 4

Day: Mondays
Hours: 8:00 am – 4:15 pm (term time)
Pay: $40 per hour + superannuation
Role focus: business admin, compliance systems, WHS/risk registers, invoices/receipts and Xero support, payroll coordination inputs, staff contracts and recruitment admin.

3) Executive Assistant & Resourcing – Level 4

Days: Tuesdays and Fridays
Hours: 8:00 am – 4:15 pm (term time)
Pay: $40 per hour + superannuation
Role focus: executive support to Co-Principals (calendars, workflow, correspondence), coordination of resourcing/procurement systems, supplier liaison, documentation/templates.

4) Marketing & Media Officer – Level 4

Day: Wednesdays
Hours:



8:00 am – 4:15 pm (term time)
Pay: $40 per hour + superannuation
Role focus: social media planning and posting, advertising, website updates, newsletter content, signage, tours/open days, kindy outreach, community/media engagement.
Additional event hours: Includes participation in up to two Open Day Saturdays (half days) and the Green Heart Fair (scheduled in advance).

5) Enrolments Officer – Level 4

Day: Thursdays
Hours: 8:00 am – 4:15 pm (term time)
Pay: $40 per hour + superannuation
Role focus: enquiry management, family communication, coordinating tours/interviews/open days, enrolment pipeline tracking and documentation.

Responsible Officer (RO) Model

For all specialist office roles (Level 4 positions), the successful applicant will act as the Responsible Officer (RO) on nominated working days after morning administrative coverage concludes. This is a calm escalation role (e.g., early pick-up coordination, significant first aid incidents, operational matters).

- warm and professional in communication with families and staff

- able to work independently and use sound judgement

- confident using digital tools (Google Workspace; Xero/CRM an advantage)

Training and induction will be provided.
