About the role

We are seeking a full time Retail Sales/Interior Consultant to join our team at Oscar and Co Tiles and Bathware in Deepdene, Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a agile retail environment, assisting customers with their tile and bathroom product selections. As a Retail Sales/Interior Consultant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and design expertise to help our clients achieve their dream home interiors.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing friendly and knowledgeable service to customers, understanding their needs and guiding them through product selections

2. Demonstrating products and offering design advice to help customers visualise the final look

3. Preparing quotations, processing orders and managing customer accounts

4. Maintaining an organised and visually appealing retail showroom and uploading new products onto the company website.

5. Participating in product training to stay up-to-date with the latest tile and bathroom trends and innovations

6. Contributing to the overall success of the store through sales, customer satisfaction and teamwork

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, ideally within the home improvement, tile industry, interior sales, experience in bathware retail sales is a bonus.

2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen,



understand and meet customer needs

3. Excellent product knowledge and the ability to provide expert design advice

4. Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing product displays

5. Enthusiasm, a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

6. Strong computer skills are a prerequisite.

7. The successful applicant will be a team player with a keen eye for detail and a can do attitude.
