In 2023, we introduced Grades 11 and 12, and as our student numbers continue to increase, we are seeking a Science Teacher to join our team.

About the role:

Science Teacher

Ongoing – Commencing Term 1 2026

Full-time (part time considered)

- Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum (Years 7–10) and TASC Senior Secondary Science courses (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science).
- Create learning experiences that spark curiosity and encourage students to question, investigate, and think critically.
- Ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative, and engaging pedagogy.
- Support curriculum development and the success of our Science Department.

The ideal candidate will:

- have a teaching qualification with current registration in Tasmania.
- possess strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and TASC Science courses.
- be passionate and have a love of science and developing students’ analytical and problem-solving skills.
- have excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
- enjoy integrating technology into teaching, to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
- join a supportive team, where you work collaborative,



to plan and implement effective teaching and learning plans.
- be committed to igniting a passion for learning while embodying the values, mission, and principles of Catholic Education.
