We are currently seeking a Food Technology Assistant on a part-time ongoing basis, commencing 27 January 2026. Applications are invited from experienced, well-organised, and enthusiastic individuals to support the effective delivery of Food Technology lessons and College events.

We are currently seeking a Food Technology Assistant on a part-time ongoing basis, commencing 27 January 2026. Applications are invited from experienced, well-organised, and enthusiastic individuals to support the effective delivery of Food Technology lessons and College events.

The Food Technology Assistant is responsible for assisting teachers with class preparation, assisting in class, maintaining cleaning, laundry, ordering and receiving of supplies, clean and periodic maintenance of equipment (facilitated by external suppliers).The Food Technology Assistant also assists in the catering for College events and functions.





Appointees are expected to show understanding of and commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College. Mercy College is committed to creating and maintaining a child safe environment in which students feel protected and are safe. A condition of employment is that the applicant is deemed to be suitable to work with children.

Successful applicants must have current WWCC.
