About the Role
This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in a managerial position who values meaningful connections — with customers, team members, and collaborators. A strong attention to detail and a love for creating warm, considered spaces (both in-store and online) are essential. You will play a key leadership role in our retail space, guiding the team to help customers connect with the story and spirit behind our brand. You will also be responsible for sales planning and supporting broader customer experience initiatives across the business.
This role requires excellent communication skills in both English (Japanese is also preferred), as many of our producers are based in Japan. You will work closely with our founder and small team, making this an ideal position for someone who enjoys meaningful work, cross-cultural collaboration, and building fair system across the industry and our partners.
This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in a managerial position at least for 3 years, who values meaningful connections — with customers, team members, and collaborators — and takes ownership of their role with initiative, responsibility, and care.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Sales Reporting & Analytics
- Proven ability to compile, analyse, and interpret sales data to identify trends, performance gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Skilled in preparing weekly/monthly sales reports, dashboards, and forecasts to support decision-making.
- Robust command of Excel/Google Sheets,
CRM systems, and data-visualisation tools.
Business Development
- Experience identifying new market opportunities and building strategies to expand customer base and revenue.
- Skilled in nurturing client relationships, preparing proposals, and supporting end-to-end sales cycles.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales initiatives with broader business goals.
・Collaborating closely with the brand founder and wholesale manager to ensure consistency and cohesion across all customer touch points
・Managing inventory and stock levels with a strong focus on forecasting sales trends, while actively listening to customer feedback to guide and improve store operations
・Maintaining and elevating the in-store experience, from thoughtful product selection and display to the overall sensory atmosphere
・Leading the in-store team and serving as the primary point of contact for customers, offering warm, knowledgeable guidance on our products and makers
・Supporting our online customer experience through kind and attentive communication, order handling, and fulfilment processes
・Planning and coordinating key moments such as seasonal events, product launches, in-store collaborations, and brand presence initiatives

・Have a sharp eye for detail and a proactive, solution-focused mindset

・Enjoy working in a small team environment where your voice and ideas truly matter
・Have previous experience working in retail with a knowledge of Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
・Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Position Details
・Full-time (5 days per week)
・Flagship store manager-level role suited for someone eager to contribute their skills to a fast-growing team
・Reports directly to the Company Director, working closely with the Brand Manager
