Ecosite is a Melbourne-based manufacturer and hire provider of solar-powered mobile demountable facilities, purpose-built for infrastructure, construction, industrial, events and government projects across Australia.
About the Role and your responsibilities
Ecosite are seeking an experienced Carpenter/Aluminum Carpenter to join our team. You will be based at our warehouse, located in Melbourne's Inner West, and assist in the manufacturing of Ecosite off grid facilities, taking pride in your work and providing the highest standard of finish.
You will be part of a collaborative team consisting of other trades, working to achieve project deadlines and requirements.
Your role will consist of, but not be limited to;
- Safe use and efficiency of carpentry tools and equipment
- Construction, fit, and finish of Ecosite facilities, which may also include cabinets, shelving, and other custom finishes
- Ability to work with a variety of materials to meet specifications and quality finishes
The ideal applicant will have
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Strong communication skills, motivated and team-orientated
- High attention to detail and takes pride in their craftsmanship
- Thrive working in a energetic, fast-paced environment
- Experience in the Caravan industry, as an Assembler or similar would be desirable, but not essential.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in your field, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry
- Current Victorian white card
- Immediate start
Benefits
- Salary offered: $85,000 – $90,000 per year for the right candidate
- Collaborative and supportive work environment
- Accrued Monthly RDO
- Full Time Position Monday – Friday. Opportunity for overtime and some Saturday’s may be required.
- Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
