The position:
This role is based in Churchill (near the regional city of Traralgon) where there are a myriad of great lifestyle opportunities at your fingertips.
Reporting to the Regional General Manager Gippsland, the Planning Manager plays a key role in the management of Gippsland Regions operational planning. This includes the development and management of conducive working relationships with communities and regulators.
The skills we are looking for:
- Excellent leadership presence.
- Contemporary and relevant experience, associated with plantation forest management and planning.
- The ability to develop operational plans associated with harvesting, roading and silviculture.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently.
- Ability to establish and maintain good commercial, community and regulatory relations.
- Knowledge of certification systems and principles.
- The drive to do things better than they’re done today, ability to think innovatively and implement works programs within budgets.
- A commitment to the success and career development of the people in your team.
- The ability to influence and make a valuable contribution to the Gippsland Lead Team.
