About the Role
As a personal support worker, you will directly support our clients who have acquired spinal cord injuries with daily tasks in their homes.
- Assisting clients with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when required.
- Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene.
- Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management.
- Basic wound care and self‑medication.
- Domestic support such as meal preparation, light household duties and laundry.
- Community access such as driving to appointments and social activities.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in disability or aged care, whilst regarded, is not a requirement for the role – full training provided.
- A valid Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle is required.
- A smartphone device.
- Hold, or willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening Card and Blue Card.
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
