Even if you only meet some of the criteria, we’d love to hear from you.** **Join us in supporting individuals on their personal recovery and management of mental health*** **Part time (0.6FTE) Fixed-term in Rosebud until 30 June 2026*** **$43.08 to $46.35 phr (SCHADS Level 4B) + Leave loading + Super + Salary packaging****About this Program**The Mental Health Alternative Workforce (Wellbeing Workers) work alongside clinicians and case managers to complement and enhance the services provided by Peninsula Health Staff in Acute Mental Health and Community Mental Health Teams. Wellbeing Workers provide non-clinical, recovery-focused, and therapeutic support, promoting hope, connection, and empowerment for individuals experiencing mental health challenges.As the Mental Health Wellbeing Worker you will support assessment of needs, service access, moving towards personal recovery, management of mental health symptoms and social and community connection, as well as linking across services and helping the person, their family, carer and supports to address their stressors, such as threats of homelessness, financial difficulties and social isolation.**About the Opportunity**Wellbeing Workers support clients in identifying and working towards their recovery goals, fostering optimism and motivation for change to improve overall quality of life. They take a strengths-based, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed approach, ensuring support is person-centered, meaningful, and tailored to each individual's needs.This role will be based from Rosebud within the **Mornington Adult Community Mental Health Team (MACMHT)**, a multidisciplinary community-based service providing longitudinal mental health case management support to individuals experiencing both acute and subacute mental health challenges. You will offer non-clinical psychosocial support, assisting consumers in their recovery journey through practical and emotional support, multi-disciplinary case planning, and connection to essential community resources. MACMHT delivers holistic, face-to-face assessments and home treatment across the Mornington Peninsula from Mornington further south, ensuring accessible, high quality, person-centred care.
