About the Role
The Irrigation Technical Officer is responsible for planning and delivering the renewal and upgrade of City of Palmerston’s irrigation management systems and infrastructure. This role provides technical guidance to the Operations Supervisor and Irrigation Maintenance Officers, while supporting a range of programs and projects that directly contribute to the city’s operational effectiveness and long-term asset sustainability.
About You
To succeed in this role,
you will bring extensive experience in irrigation infrastructure maintenance and installation, as well as operating irrigation telemetry and commercial irrigation systems. You will also have sound knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and minor infrastructure works. A Certificate IV in Irrigation (or equivalent relevant qualification) and a current Driver’s Licence are essential.
