About the Company
Our client is a highly regarded structural steel and metalwork contractor, delivering design, fabrication, and installation projects across commercial, industrial, mining, and education sectors throughout South East Queensland.
Their team is known for quality workmanship, safety, and the ability to take on complex architectural and structural installations — from staircases, railings and balustrades through to large-scale support structures and architectural features.
The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Site Boilermaker to join the installation crew working on steel erection and metalwork projects across SEQ. There is an option for either casual or permanent full-time position.
You’ll be based from their Northgate workshop, working in small site teams to fabricate and install steel components on a range of client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• MIG welding and fabrication of structural steel in office
• Installation of purlins, balustrades, handrails, and architectural steelwork
• Steel erection, bolting, and grouting of structural elements
• Working within small crews of Boilermakers and Riggers (3–6 per team)
• Maintaining safety and quality standards on all installations
What You’ll Need (Mandatory)
✔️ Trade Qualification – Boilermaker
✔️ Construction White Card
✔️ Driver’s Licence + reliable transport
✔️ Good physical fitness and site readiness
Highly Regarded (Not Essential):
➕ Rigger or EWP Ticket
➕ Previous site install experience in structural or architectural steel
