About the Apprenticeship
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist Apprentice, you will learn to:
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Set, load and operate CNC machines
- Use pre-programmed software to mill, drill, cut, and produce complex precision components
- Work confidently with a range of materials including metals, plastics, and composites
You will be enrolled in MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Machining). Across your apprenticeship, you will develop strong theoretical and practical skills, giving you a pathway to becoming a fully qualified machinist with broad career opportunities. The apprenticeship is typically completed over 4 years.

About You
We are looking for applicants who are:
- Interested in engineering, manufacturing, and machining
- Eager to learn and develop practical trade skills
- Reliable, motivated and safety-focused
- Able to follow instructions, work well in a team and independently
No prior machining experience is required — just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Employment Requirements
Before commencement, applicants must:
- Be an Australian resident with legal working rights
- Provide any relevant supporting documents
- Attend an onsite interview if shortlisted
- Hold a valid drivers licence (provisional licence acceptable)
- Sign employment documents which includes; Trade Contract, Employment Contract, Terms and Conditions of Employment and a Non-Disclosure Agreement
A probationary period of up to 3 months, reviewed again at 12 months, applies.
