We are currently looking for our nextLeading Hand to join our passionate Parks and Gardens team to helpkeep our iconic Foreshore and CBD areas looking their best.

About the role:
As our Leading Hand, you’ll play a key role in maintainingand enhancing some of the South West’s most iconic Foreshoreand CBD areas including; Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup, Meelup,and Port Geographe.
Working closely with the Foreshore/CBD/Trades Supervisor,you’ll lead a small team of staff and contractors to deliverhigh-quality landscaping, irrigation, and minor constructionprojects.
This is your chance to work in one of WA’s mostpicturesque regions, contributing to the presentation and safety ofspaces enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
What your day-to-day will include:
- Formulating and implementing landscape maintenanceprograms.
- Supervising and mentoring team members.
- Overseeing routine maintenance of foreshore and CBDassets.
- Assisting with minor capital works and special events.
- Operating and maintaining a range of plant andequipment.
- Ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional customerservice.
As our successful applicant you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Extensive experience in horticulture and open spacemaintenance.
- A natural leader with solid communication andorganisational skills.
- Comfortable using technology for administration andreporting.
- Safety-conscious and committed to continuousimprovement.
- Hold (or ability to attain) a current MR Class DriversLicence and White Card.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clerance not more than6 months old.
