CHEF – MODERN VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT (NORTH ADELAIDE)
Full-time | New opening | Creative role
Lotus Story Restaurant is a new modern Vietnamese venue in North Adelaide, and we're looking for a Chef who wants to help shape a fresh, high-energy kitchen from the ground up.

- Have out-of-the-box ideas for modern Asian/Vietnamese flavours,
- Want to turn a "blank canvas" kitchen into a smooth, well-run operation,
- Value a team that respects, supports and doesn't play the blame game,

What we're looking for:
Minimum 3-5 years of professional kitchen experience required.
This position is suitable for Chef de Partie level candidates.
Australian work rights will be assessed on a case by case basis.
+ Creative passion:
- Enjoy developing new dishes and refining flavours.
- Care about plating and guest experience, not just getting food out.
+ Professional kitchen management
- Can organise prep – line – pass clearly and calmly.
- Confident with quality control, hygiene standards, stock and cost awareness.
Food Safety Supervisor certification is required.
+ Strong teamwork
- Work closely with both FOH & BOH.
- Communicate honestly, support your teammates, and help lift the whole team.
Experience with Vietnamese or Asian cuisine is a plus, but we're open to any background if you're keen to learn and create.
