Primary Purpose:
- Work collaboratively within a small team to manage, coordinate and review medium/high risk Workers Compensation (WC) and Additional Compensation (AC) claims, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation and associated Regulation, Award and Enterprise Agreement.
- Work proactively to resolve claims and compensation issues and contribute to the creation of a positive work culture, through responsible participation in grievance and dispute resolution;
- Participation and contribution to the management of Injury Management systems across the Emergency Services Sector (ESS), the Audit Verification System (Office for the Public Sector & RTWSA), the Building Safety Excellence in the public sector (BSE) strategy and Injury Management data analysis reports.
- Participation and contribution in best practice case management and early intervention systems for injured employees/volunteers.
- Work collaboratively with ESS agencies to proactively manage risks associated with employees/volunteers returning to work following injury.
- Provide a consultancy service regarding claims management to Emergency Services Sector (ESS) agencies.
- Contribute to the management and strategic direction of the Injury Management Services.

- Relevant Injury Management qualifications
Remuneration:
ASO6
$98,478 to $104,165
