Allied Forklifts is a family owned company that have been trading in Western Australia since 1996. Our main business activity is to sell, hire, and repair a diverse range of new and used forklifts. In this time we have diversified our activities to include a marine business, Searano Marine and a landscape supply business, Soilworld.
Most accounting functions have been performed by an in-house team of dedicated accounts people and we employ external accountants to prepare our Company Tax returns.
As the business continues to grow, we now need to employ an experienced Company Accountant to take control of our accounting system.
Duties include;
- Maintain depreciation schedules
- Control imported stock purchases and calculate landed costs
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to the Managing Director
- Maintain asset and stock registers. Reconcile balances to the balance sheet on a monthly basis.
- Maintain general ledger balance schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of BAS
- Review pricing policies
- Perform other accounting duties as directed by the Managing Director.
Please note;
- This is a full time "hands-on" role and our head office is based in Malaga.
- Only permanent residents of Australia need apply. We will not consider anyone working on a temporary work visa.
The Company Accountant will report direct to the Managing Director and only suitably qualified persons who have gained solid experience in similar roles will be considered.
