About the role
The Production Operator role is a Full-Time position, based at Brendale, QLD.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for operating a range of fixed and mobile plant in a dynamic environment to manufacture high-quality products.
Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts.

The shifts rotate between day (06:00-18:00) and night (18:00-06:00).
In this role you will:
* Operating machinery and ensuring materials are produced to the commercial standard, performing quality checks as required.
* Identify and report equipment and product faults.




* Unload and stage (put away) various products.
* Be involved in identifying risks and hazards and contributing to initiatives that focus on improving quality.
* Housekeeping and other duties as required.
* Forklift driving required and complete pre-start checklists.
What you bring to the role
* A great work ethic and strong commitment to safe work practices & high regard for safety
* Ability to interact well with others and join the team
* The ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
* High attention to detail, with good mechanical mind and trouble shooting ability
* Computer literacy
* Willingness to work a rotating roster.
* Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high volume, multiple stage continuous manufacturing / factory environment is desirable.
* A current Forklift license with experience is preferred
* Strong understanding of production operations
