Paralegal or Junior Commercial/Litigation Lawyer 1-2 years PQE

**Opportunity**

We are after a driven, talented and cutting-edge paralegal or newly qualified lawyer to join Lazarus Legal’s innovative and growing legal practice based in Bondi Junction. Please confirm why you would be suitable for the role and what sets you apart from the rest.

**The Role**
- Work will include advisory, transactional and general commercial/litigation matters
- Preparation and filing of Court forms
- Assisting in preparation of various court documents, including pleadings, affidavits and witness statements in Local, District and Supreme Court of NSW;
- Drafting legal letters and other correspondence under supervision
- Preparing, reviewing and advising on a range of commercial agreements and contracts including shareholders agreements, loan agreements, consultancy/services and distribution agreements, website terms and conditions etc.




- Legal research on various issues/projects as instructed or required
- Strong drafting skills
- Retail and Commercial Leasing
- Using initiative to implement new processes and procedures to streamline workflow
- Working as part of a team to provide support to the Lazarus Legal team.
- Assisting with management of content across various social media platforms including contribution to blog posts, video content, articles and other material as required by the Lazarus Legal team on an ad hoc basis

**Required Personality Traits for the Role**
- Shows initiative and desire to contribute to a ‘new law’ approach;
- Attention to Detail and a willingness to Learn.
- A passion for social media and building your own client base through various channels

**Skills and Experience**
- Paralegal experience or 1+ years legal and/or litigation experience
- Some level of IP experience including registration of Trade Marks and advising on IP clauses in commercial contracts
- Review and drafting of Contracts for Sale of Land and general understanding of the Conveyancing process is a bonus
- Familiar with social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram; Twitter, TikTok and YouTube;
- Copywriting for blog posts
- Proficient level of Microsoft Office skills (including Word and Excel);
- LEAP software experience (preferable)
- Shows high energy and results focus
- Demonstrates personal responsibility for their performance and high curiosity for expanding the business;
- Takes ownership and follows through on agreed commitments and will take initiative to overcome issues and implement solutions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
