Business Development Director, Personal Care Actives
Must be based in : Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, or South Korea
Remote with Regional Travel
This position will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and developing strong customer relationships within the assigned region.
This is a strategic and hands‑on sales leadership role, ideal for someone with a proven track record in personal care actives and specialty ingredients, who thrives on building partnerships and uncovering new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Drive revenue growth for Personal Care Actives and related ingredients across assigned territories.
Identify, qualify, and secure new business with formulators, contract manufacturers, and brand owners.
Expand business opportunities and share of wallet with existing GPI / RNL customers.
Provide market intelligence and insights on emerging trends, technologies, and competitor activity.
Support the introduction of new products and active ingredients into the portfolio.
Collaborate with internal teams on sales strategy, marketing campaigns, and technical presentations.
Represent GPI at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Maintain detailed customer records and report on progress, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in Personal Care Actives or related specialty ingredients within the region (Australia, NZ, SEA, or South Korea).
Solid network of relationships with formulators, manufacturers, and brand owners.
Proven success in business development, sales strategy, and revenue generation.
Bachelor's degree in Science, Chemistry, Business, or related discipline (required).
Willingness to travel frequently throughout the territory.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently.
