**Description**

We have an opportunity for a Civil Drafter to join our Community Development team in Springfield, Queensland.

This role will see you provide civil drafting services using AutoCAD for a wide variety of land, urban and subdivision projects.

Our projects are located locally and throughout the Southeast Queensland region.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

Preparation of conceptual and detailed design drawings in accordance with statutory requirements and standards

Civil engineering design for land subdivision, road and drainage projects using AutoCAD

Participate in the delivery of projects and ensure output is of a high standard and within time and cost budget allocations

Managing deliverables of a project including quality control and the coordination of drafting staff

Providing input to the continuous improvement of our design and drafting standards

Ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded

**About you**

Base salary between $70,000 to $80,000

To be successful you will display:

+ Demonstrated Civil drafting experience, ideally in civil infrastructure, land, urban or subdivisions

+ Demonstrated experience using design software including AutoCAD

+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

+ Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements

+ A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development

+ 12D design experience highly regarded

+ Minimum of Associate's Degree or Technical School Diploma/Certificate Computer-Aided Design Technology
