About the role
ASV Sales and Service Qld Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and driven Parts Supervisor to join our team in Archerfield, Queensland. This full-time role is responsible for the parts and inventory operations for our construction equipment dealership.
What you'll be doing
- Organising the day-to-day operations of the parts department, including inventory control, ordering, receiving, and distribution
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date parts records and inventory levels
- Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, resolving any issues or inquiries in a timely manner
- Monitoring and analysing parts usage and demand data to optimise inventory and identify opportunities for improvement
- Liaising with suppliers and other departments to ensure the timely availability of parts
- Assisting with the development and implementation of parts department policies and procedures
- Contributing to the overall success and growth of the business
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a parts management or similar role within the construction equipment industry
- Strong knowledge of parts inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock control
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both internal and external customers
- Proficient in using parts management software and other relevant computer applications
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service
