The Shire of Capel is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the voluntary position of Independent Member of Council's Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee.

The Shire of Capel is located in the South West, halfway between Bunbury and Busselton.

We are nestled between the beach and the forest and are one of the fastest growing coastal Shires in Australia.

The appointment will be until the October 2027 Ordinary Election.

Essential Experience:
1.

Internal/external audit.
2.





Risk management and assurance practices.
3.

Financial management/reporting.

Desired Experience:
1.

Understanding of complexities associated within the Shire of Capel.
2.

Robust links with the community.
3.

Governance and compliance oversight skills.
4.

Committee or board experience.
