About the Role
We are seeking to fill multiple Support Worker positions!
Cockburn Care is currently seeking to recruit people who have a can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn and be adaptable. We are part of the City of Cockburn, and the clients we service reside throughout the city. Our Goal is to provide care and support to our aged residents, enabling them to remain living in their own homes. This includes:
- Domestic Assistance- Home cleaning
- Personal Care- Assistance with showering and hygiene
- Transportation- Assistance to medical appointments and shopping
- In-home Respite
- Social support in accessing and staying connected to the community
As a Support Worker you would be required have a driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, as you will be traveling to each individual client you support. Mileage and travel time is reimbursed. Training and a full induction including buddy shifts are provided.
About you
We’re seeking compassionate and adaptable Community Support Workers with a focus on empowering older residents to live independently, to guide and inspire through quality care and meaningful connection.
Besides demonstrated experience, you’ll need to have:
- Cert III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability Support or Mental Health
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Flu Vaccination
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: Level 2/3 Step 1 – Step 3 ($38.39 to $43.95 per hour), City of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025 based on qualification and experience.
