HSE Manager (Melbourne)

This well established and highly respected Tier 2 contractor have recently been awarded a Marine upgrade project located 2 hours south of Melbourne. The project is duration is 12 months and is Monday to Friday with accommodation provided.

Experience working for a Tier 1 or 2 Contractor on infrastructure projects would be highly regarded for this role.

The Role

- Managing and administration of safety systems
- Driving a safety focused culture
- Undertaking audits to ensure compliance with OHS, Injury Management and QA policies and procedures
- Reporting directly into the HSEQ Director
- Input OH&S; data into Incident Management System
- Conduct Risk Assessments and drive risk control
- Strong ability to understand and interpret policies
- Develop and execute best practice and stay up to speed with industry legislation's.

The Person





- Previous experience in a safety role
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or relevant experience
- drivers license
- Knowledge of Work Cover and Injury Management
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid relationships internally as well as externally.
