Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Property Services Coordinator who is responsible for assisting with the maintenance, presentation, and operational upkeep of EPIISOD Macquarie Park. This role focuses on Maintenance, Repairs, Asset Management, and Risk & Safety Management to ensure the property remains safe, functional, and welcoming for all residents and stakeholders.
Job Description
- Perform day-to-day maintenance services, repairs and minor handyman work to ensure all facilities remain in excellent condition.
- Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance enquiries and service requests.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, apartments, and common areas, arranging any required repairs or cleaning.
- Support the Accommodation Manager with annual and lifecycle maintenance planning, preventative maintenance scheduling, and asset management activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, assets, and inventories using the property management system (StarRez).
- Assist with contractor coordination and performance monitoring to ensure services meet quality and compliance standards.
- Contribute to risk management and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with OHS and emergency procedures.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with residents, staff, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Key Competencies
- Proven ability to perform a variety of maintenance and repair work relevant to residential properties. This includes minor carpentry, plumbing, mechanical repairs, painting etc.
- Strong ability to meet deadlines without compromising on quality or customer service.
- Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, flexibility,
and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with property management databases such as StarRez.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in general facilities or property maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.
- Experience in customer-facing roles within property, accommodation, or facilities environments.
- Trade qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Communications, HVAC, Building/Construction, Fire, or Mechanical (highly regarded).
- OH&S;, Risk, or Safety-related qualifications (highly regarded).
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or ability to acquire)
